"An Issue of Gifts..."

So it's my girlfriends birthday on the 23rd, and I want to get her something special.

So I thought I'd invest in some gems :)

Anyway, long story short, I'm in a bit of a fix on what kind to get her, so far I've found three types that have grabbed my eye. Any opinions on them would be greatly appreciated :)

Any other ideas or suggestions would also be greeted warmly =D

Chaos are you from a middle class family? Have you been dating this girl for years? Is she the one you think you'll end up marrying? If not then it's probably not such a great idea to spend such a huge amount =(

I think £100 is more than enough and will get you lots of things.

My older brother was the same, he spent over one and a half thousand on his ex once for her birthday. They eventually broke up when she cheated on him. Does he regret spending all that money on her? Hell yes! He probably wishes he could get it all back because now he has debts and a morgage.

My range is around £400-500

Emerald, useful as it happens to be Green.

Green is her favourite colour, followed by blue and white I think.

Ah birthstones, what's the one for May?

Ok the purple and the white one are unsuitable. The blue would be ok and i think a green would suit her.

What you could do is just go with her birthstone, that way if she hates it, it's not your fault, it's hers for being born when she was.

It would depend quite a lot on what she looks like. The Amethyst (i think thats what the purple one is) would only suit certain people.
