So it's my girlfriends birthday on the 23rd, and I want to get her something special.

So I thought I'd invest in some gems :)

Anyway, long story short, I'm in a bit of a fix on what kind to get her, so far I've found three types that have grabbed my eye. Any opinions on them would be greatly appreciated :)

Any other ideas or suggestions would also be greeted warmly =D

Many thanks, Chaos.

You're welcome Chaos =)

Diamonds are a womans best friend, she'll pretty much have to ;)

Ignore Garin he's just being an idiot.

If you've been given the money then that's fine =) go for the middle or right one.

Ignore Machie and Nin. They're old, bitter and twisted. :)

All I'd say in respect of buying jewellery is make sure you get value for money. Usually this means staying away from highstreet retailers. :)

Win a couple of GADs and buy your own! =P

Heh, OK, to put it one way... Imagine I've been given this money to spend on her, but really it's only costing me a fraction of what it should.

I'd also like to point out I'm not a criminal, and I'm not stealing or buying off a high street market =D

If you've got that much to spend i'd get a couple of things, instead of spending so much on the just the one thing.

In that case, can I borrow some money Chaos? :) I could use a new webcam.

Spend as much as she's willing to spend on you. If you get her this and she gets you a Lost DVD boxset, then you got screwed. ;)

That £400 could get you some premium bonds =) like a lottery except you dont lose anything or gain any interest. Or umm buy some shares in a UK company. Tesco might be a good one, isn't it 1/4 pounds spent goes to them? :S

Honestly, it's nothing :) Can't really explain where the money has come from, well not on here at least :)

But trust me, it's not that bad :)

I agree with Mark, thats way too much to spend. Christ most people spend less than that on their weddings rings.
