Are there any GOOD pool/snooker games for PS2? You see, at the moment I can only seem to find Pool Master (Or whatever the hell it's called- it's still crap) and that's it. Are there any others?
Summer league has just started (where I am anyway), and there should be pleanty of teams that can accomodate the more average level of player.
Cheers.
:-D
It really depends if you want a "sim" or a "game". Codemasters version is more of a game, in that the controls are a bit limited, and they try to make the presentation more like TV. I personally couldn't get on with the very limited controls you had with it, and progress around the table is sooooo slooooow. You also spend a LOT of time just watching your opponent.
For a good snooker/pool game, for me there is only one place to look, and that is Virtual Pool 3 for the PC. It is cheap as chips now, and offers the best, most realstic snooker/pool sim. Controls are via the mouse and keys in combination; very easy and works really well. You can wizz around the table like a pro in no time!!!
Hope that helps.
