Maybe but it could be you. Even though the 1st 3 steps are ok the 4th can still be you. I've had the problem that if the PC has been on and connected to the internet and then I connect the XBox up after the PC has been on for the whole day the XBox doesnt like to use the internet for XBox Live. A reboot with all the wires in and the XBox turned on is a good thing to do.
But it could be just down.

hmm i seem to have a prob, when i try to get the patch for mech assult/ghost recon it just fails to connect to xbox live, but the demo games work? any ideas? thanks
