Gamecube is being launched.
X-Box is being launched.
Metal Gear Solid 2... should be out soon.
So it's all a bit hectic over there... people pre-ordering madly, phoning shops and shouting at staff...
And what do Nintendo do?
They contact all the shops, and tell them that they can sell the Gamecubes as soon as they arrive. Which happens to be... now.
So it's all a bit mad over there at the moment.

Done this. I failed every single attempt up until the last time I could take it, mocks and all. Fianlly got an E.
Mechanics 2 (Maths). Doing this early, makes life easier

Did this as well. See above.
Technology exam: Failed this last time.

Didn't do this.
Pure Mathematics 2. Got a E in this... boost my grade a bit if I get it right this time.
Mechanics 2 (Maths). Doing this early, makes life easier in some way that makes no sense.
Technology exam: Failed this last time. Probably because I don't know anything about copyright, and stuff. Which is mightly important when I'm sawing wood.
"Why?"
Because I failed them last time around. :0)
Better make an effort this time.
Fortunately I had my headphones on at the time and my dachshund (Fred) took the call. Being the Jaguar fan that he is he told them that they were barking up the wrong tree and could they kindly refrain from calling at lunchtimes in future.
Despite my audio-restricted capabilities I distinctly heard sobbing and wailing at the other end of the receiver.
Twenty minutes later a Hercules transport aircraft flew overhead and dropped 500,000 leaflets over Bristol in a mass propoganda campaign. The leaflets simply said:
"America, Land of Opportunity, Freedom and Justice for ALL, and you can buy Gamecubes there, you know you want to! - Nintendo."
I wouldn't have minded, except for the fact that they could have had the decency to unsplit the leaflets from their pallets before they pushed them out of the back of the aircraft. As it was my goldfish were distraught when a 500kg marketing pallet smashed into their pond, crumpling their fountain and disrupting whatever they were doing at the time. (Probably having a heated discussion about the word 'Bob', as they usually are).
I spoke to my solicitor, and he advised that I definitely have grounds to sue. He thinks I could probably get around £15,000 and a Gamecube as compensation.
As a result of all this I have had to change my phone number, rebuild my fish pond, and seek the services of a new legal advisor.
(Copy to Watchdog).
Lets hope it's not A level Media Studies, too many theorists, damn the old knowledgeble people of this earth.
My exams are going to be interesting times, too.
Hopefully something similar will happen over here, a big rush is more interesting, Christmas 2002 is going to be the most interesting time for these consoles.
