"Two faced Tanner".
What a b**tard mission this is!
As soon as I touch his car - 4 stars, straight away!
I've tried everything I can think of - including going back to the first Island and stealing a Fire Engine to try and ram him off the road. Nothing, not a sausage.
Any tips would be gratefully received.
I'm kind of thinking I don't want a step by step answer, but some general tips that may help would be good.

Where do I get the rocket launcher from WITHOUT USING CHEATS?
Also, in the cut scene, he gets in his car and drives off, so by the time you're back in control, he's already off down the street.
I tried parking a Fire Engine in front of his car before going in the blue swirly thing, to see if that would slow him down a bit, but the Fire Engine disappeared!

Finally done that mission, it wasnt soo hard in the end.
As for that boat mission, collecting the packages. Well collecting the packages is the easy part, but dodging the FBI back on land is pritty hard. So what i did was made sure when i got back onto land i was on a bit of land that had one of those power-up type things that makes your wanted level go down one. this made getting the packages back to that guy much easier!

That took me a few goes yes....But once you collect all the packages it shouldnt be too hard to get away. FBI are kinda dumb and they were not fast enough for my viper..:)

If anyone else is lurking around here, i need some help on the mission where you gotta bring down the plane carrying Catalina's poision(as asuka puts it).

Well like you i was very frustrated with this mission and i was having a bash at it tonight, i managed to do it only because tanner got stuck so i blew his car up with a shotgun, all i recommend you try is getting him jammed somehow, sorry i can't be much help, i'm now stuck on the ocean mission where you have to collect 6 packages and you have 5 stars, really hard, anyone got any hints that has done the mission?
I done this mission by using one of those army trucks. Makes it real easy.
You can get one from that one armed phil up in the north corner of Stanton island to the far left on the coast near the staduim.
