I've recently purchased a GC, purely for the Zelda games, but would like some recommendations for older games which I know nothing about and will have missed please.
My gaming preferences are for games like Zelda and the Final Fantasy Series on PS2. I loved Mario on the N64 so will be getting Mario Sunshine. I like the freedom of running around and solving puzzles.
Go easy on the purse but any suggestions on games I would probably like from the back catalogue would be much appreciated.

In Japanese though, which makes the game beyond purchase, unless you can read Japanese of course.

Blame Sony for that, if it wasn't for them and their gay pay offs then we'd have Pro Evo by now.
Unfortunately they've paid Konami so they don't release it on anything but Playstation 2 outside of Japan.

i think the gamecube lacks a good football game. that the major gripe i have with this system and only real reason i keep switching my PS2 on now and then...(namely Pro Evo Soccer... although to be fair Pro Evo International is available on import)
