I've recently purchased a GC, purely for the Zelda games, but would like some recommendations for older games which I know nothing about and will have missed please.

My gaming preferences are for games like Zelda and the Final Fantasy Series on PS2. I loved Mario on the N64 so will be getting Mario Sunshine. I like the freedom of running around and solving puzzles.

Go easy on the purse but any suggestions on games I would probably like from the back catalogue would be much appreciated.

As in I can play 7, 8, 9 and 10 on the PS2.

Okay, thanks for all the suggestions. I'll get Eternal Darkness and watch out for Pikmin and the monkey ones. I'll check out some of the other suggestions except Resident Evil, never fancied that one on any console.

4) Resident Evil
5) Medal of Honour
6) Eternal Darkness
7) Pikmin
8) Luigi's Mansion
9) Timesplitters 2
10) Dinosaur Planet
11) Mortal Kombat
12) Super Monkey Ball 2
13) Die Hard

I think the Japanese wont hinder your gaming too much. Much like Soul Calibur 2 in Japanese, its not so bad.
