" Dad can I practice my clutch control in the car? "
" You're not insured "
" I know but I'll only be moving a few metres back and forward "
" Aye alright then "
I do okay at clutch control
" Want to turn up the next street "
" Sure? "
" Yeah "

Disaster strikes... kids kicking football on next street, car comes flying towards me... I'm going up hill and don't give enough gas... panic and stall the car for the first time ever.
Then I can't turn the key... it won't turn on... then I can't find reverse because I've never driven in the new car before.
Argh horrible.
" Right for god sake.. start it up... right I'm taking over "
" Sorry dad "
And now my driving confidence is in ruins

It would have been 1 if i hadnt gone into autopilot during the test and indicated to go up a street that i assumed he was going to go up. But he didnt use that street, so i got a minor.
2 minors, that’s pretty darn impressive.
:o(
6 Weeks later without anymore lessons, i re-sat my test in my own car and passed with 2 minor faults.
That is the only embarrassing thing to have happened to me, oh, apart from pulling out in front of another car at some traffic lights, on my mock test, dangerous fault, instant fail :D
I later found out that the lights had changed since my last lesson, so now traffic came from more then one place at a time.
2 lessons later I took my test for real and passed with 5 minor faults.
