I'm a bit suspicious. I don't remember entering a draw for a £1000 (though I've been entering a few competition's, recently). Some foolhardy member go to the address and check it's legibility out for me. I'm not an idiot, I know I haven't won a grand, but... it would be nice. Still, false hope, the corporations biggest seller.

It's like that Gameaday scam - I've won it 25 times now but I don't believe it to be real...

...ofcourse I'm only joking :D

Watch out for those wierd txts - or ones asking you to ring a number to 'test the line' - they're nearly always false.

I aint phoneing the number though...

A mate's mate's mate actually dialed the number to claim his prize. His ten pound credit ran out before he ever got anything. I think that tells you the validity of those things...

Life is a big scam. Like the stuff you get with SR magazine.

They are making dispossible mobile phones to go with dispossible cameras. You buy it for like £10 and it comes with a certain battery supply and £5 worth of calling credit. The idea is that it is made of plastic, carboard, tiny wires etc so that it can simply be tossed in the bin once you're finished. They have actually made it but it broke easily and was expensive to make. I'm sure there are a lot of other draw backs as well but if you are going abroad and your sim card wont work there then it'd be good to buy a mobile phone like that with a sim card that works where ever you go and that can be disposed of easily.

That's a lie! You do get something for almost nothing if you go to the right places. I've won two GADs just for writing, I've won 5 Smallville books, 3 Lord Of The Rings books, The mInistry of Sound three disc limited addition anual, the Busted Album, the album that went with the film "The Guru", free cinema tickets for me and friends and much more. I have won other stuff too but the beauty of it is I know who I'm giving my details to so It's not stuff that's fallen of the back of a truck, I don't know the people so it's not rigged but I still get the prizes just by filling in a few details.

Got it too...and there I was thinking I'm special.
