A lot of people play Madden, I doubt a lot of people would have any intrest in taking those kind of games online though. The majority of people who play those half-arsed EA Sports games are casual gamers who will have no intrest in online gaming.

The amount of people that play Madden alone beats Xbox Live. EA being PS2 Online only and their own stuff = nail in coffin
Tiger Woods and Stinkuss Filter are hardly gonna kill off Xbox Live.
