see apart from gta i don't see whats so good. I would've mentioned resident evil online (it is getting that right?). two are cookie cutter games (fifa and woods) so i couldn't get excited about them. Baldurs gate 2,now that'd be good. I dont see how this is really 'twisting the knife'. to rattle off some competitors games:

Mario kart (summer)
F-Zero (summer)
Halo 2
grabbed by the ghoulies
various other console exclusives

this isn't taking into account that identical games should appear better on the later consoles, Xbox live and all the fun stuff I haven't thought of.

Anyway there's room for 3 at the mo.

Snuggly, I practically said that word for word, "all the formats have good games".

This is just saying how Sony, already streets ahead of the competitors, are really twisting the knife.

I have NES, phillips cdi ,3do, dreamcast, n64, xbox and gamecube. and their all great. I just think ps2 is for casual gamers, and this proves true a lot (eg fifa etc)

So its not so much a 'my console is better than yours thingy'. I respect all harcore gamers.

although it is funny when 'cookie cutter' games are claimed as saviours of gaming, suppose they keep company in the black but rare do alright without the cookie cutter......

anyway all my consoles are better than yours even if you got the same one so nah! (joke joke joke)

Of course the entire Nintendo line-up looks great. Slightly worried about Conker, if my concerns are just then I will kill RAre as they look shat these days!

I wouldn't buy one, it's disc format. I HATE carrying discs around. Damn things break far too often.

Conker's BACK!

Just so you all know, the term 'exclusive' means next to nothing in the games industry, I think it's been nailed down specifically to mean 'exclusive on this platform for 6 months'. Kinda like Splinter Cell was exclusive to Xbox.

And this thread is nothing more than a 'my consul is beta than urs' but with fancier words. Jesus people, all three consoles have good games and bad games, there's no 'best' console. It's all opinion.
