Fully 3D handheld console with disc based format...

Oh dear.

And the Playstation name can sell.

By the time it is finally released (unless it's rushed-out...?) it will have a HUGE mountain to climb against the millions of units of GameBoy Advance's and 'SP's-alone that have already sold to gamers across the globe!

But, like Dringo originally said, "SONY" does sell...
We could quite easily see a large number of these PSPs fly off the shelves within a short space of time, as it launches - like with the GBA and 'SP.

But I still doubt it will be enough to "trounce" the GBAs!

And it's not like too-many GBA-owners who have come to love Nintendo, since, will be jumping at the chance to grab a PSP because it uses CDs, and that - unlike 'other people'...!

I wouldn't say ALL the kids are watching Newsround. I'd say relatively few to be honest.

Well, I must admit, I've been spinning coins for years.

That is because the BBC has and always will be completely biased towards the majority playstation loving vote.

Search for gamecube on their site and the first articles I got up were how Sony had beaten it in the console wars and how nintendo had just got "a very big fine".

And what the hell were you doing watching Newsround anyway?

Nintendo has a lot up its sleeve... just wait.

Nintendo are in a bit of a predicament. One the one hand they have to make more announcements on the GBA2 to quel the PSP hype, but on the other hand doing this may decrease SP sales. And if there's a new competitor coming along they'll need all the sales they can get.

It sure is going to be interesting.
