Except when it comes to first party games. It's true. Mario Sunshine wasn't worth 96, Wind Waker wasn't worth 97, ANimal Crossing wasn't worth 80% it was great at first, then went crap. SSBM wasn't worth 95, Pikmin and Luigi's Mansion weren't worth their scores either, sure, they've re-reviewed them, but they're still a bit high. Metroid Prime was the only Nintendo (ANd it wasn't even Nintendo really) game that was worth it's mark.

Skies gets the recognition it deserves!
I'm glad NGC were able to look past the out dated DC graphics and realise it's a stunning game.
If it were a new game with up to date graphics, we could have expected it to score about 96%!
