There is no Fate, there is no design for you, or plan for your life...

When your in trouble, and you think nothing can save you, but then out of the blue someone walks along with the excat ibject you need to solve your problem...

Its not bacause of fate, nor is it because someone has some galactic plan in which you are needed to ensure its success...

Its probably because your playing Monkey Island... other than that its coincedence.

Lets be honest, youve got to have a pretty big ego to believe that the universe will fall apart if you get detention on Friday afternoon.

:)

However...

I never have believed in fate...

Not because I want to believe that I make my own choices in life...

Not because Ive had such a terrible life, that I'm too cynicle to have any hopes of beliefs...

Not because I'm Agnostic, though it does smack a little of a religous bent...

Not because I limits my options and actions

But because it limits those of others. Fate, always provides suitably convient escape routes...

You girlfriend/Boyfriend didnt breakup with you because you were demanding, controlling, had terrible habits, were outragously rude to her friends and family and behaved obnoxtiously to them... but because fate decreed it...

You didnt get caught shop lifting because you were greedy... it was becasue it was fate... in fate, it was fate that you were shoplifting in the first place!

It seems fate is wrapped up with all thsoe little indesycracies that people enjoy attaching to their lives,

Often, it would seem, because they are scared that if they accept that on the whole, they control their own destiny.

Often, it would seem, because they are scared that the large majority of life changing events in their lives happen to them, and not by them.

Often, it would seem, because they are scared that their mediocre, tedious, repetitive lives, isnt what they are doing before lifes great adveture starts, and that they have wasted so much of it already.

Often, it would seem, because they are scared.

---

Thats why I dont believe in fate...

I may be wrong? ... I often am :)

How about you?

I don't know whether I believe in fate as such, but life has gone along rather nicely with no decision making whatsoever.

My life is just a bunch of stuff that keeps happens, regardless of what I do.

No matter what happens I always happen to land on my feet.

When my wife and I were looking for somewhere to live, but had no money, a letter happened to drop through my Fathers door saying that the tennants in his bungalow were moving out next month, so we just moved in there.

A couple of really mean people decided that they wanted to kill me, and whilst they where laying into me with their heavy boots a police cars just happened to pass.

The more these things happen to me, the more I'm convinced...*looks nerously over shoulder* that I'm Truman Burbank from the Truman Show.

This world is mine, you only exist when I am around you, and you're all watching me, and looking out for me.

Religion has been the biggest problem peace in general has had to face. Persucution of every kind can be excused or attributed to religion. Why did the gits plough into the WTC? Because they were told if they died doing their duty they would be sent to Paradise. Bin Laden is calling all Muslims to rally against America. Jihad has been declared. The Palistians and Israeli's are fighting because of bloody religion.

It's fair enough that people want to believe there's a higher power, but the simple fact of the matter is that if religion had never existed the world would have been and would be a far more peaceful place. I realise this is a bit contraversial, but it's what I think.

Religion is one of the more popular excuses for war...

(though I dont thing WWI or WWII were religious wars?)

Though, its generally not the real cause...

And the continual involvement of the USA in Afghanistan to route the Russians for over 20 years so they can lay a pipe-line for oil from the Caspian Sea through the area, therefore giving the USA a foothold in the OPEC regions.

Religion had nothing to do with it, this was politricks pure and simple

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
Easy and free service!
I think it's fab that you provide an easy-to-follow service, and even better that it's free...!
