"whats the best console thats out or is comming out"

I have a N64 and its great and am planning on getting a X-box when it comes out or the game cube. what do all of you think is the best one to choose from i am even wondering if the playstation 2 is a better choose to get. if you look at some of the shots from the game cube they seem to have taken a cartoon look and it makes it look realy bad.

If shigsy meant it was ONLY for pre-teens why did Ninty sign up Silicon Knights as second party developers after seeing 'Eternal Darkness' on N64 (now it has been changed to GC though).

And why did he welcome Capcoms decision to bring Resi Evil titles exclusively to GC (for a while anyway...)

Shigsy probably meant it was suitable for pre-teens, because of the amount of QUALITY titles that are designed to be suitable for all ages. Most DECENT PS2 games are aimed at older gamers, but all Ninty (1st party anyway) are aimed at everyone!

So Ninty aren't just for kiddies
(or maybe I just have a really low mental age...)

The Xbox needs an add-on and the GameCube simply can't. The PS2 is the only console that can play DVDs out of the box.

Why the hell would the Resident Evils be coming to Gamecube if it was for pre teens?

I would say PS2 because it's got some really amazing games, Sony treat Europeans right, the GameCube really is for pre-teens (Shigsy said so) and more importantly: It's actually out.

But then, that's just me. What kind of games do you like?

If you want good looking games, buy an Xbox, it's quite simply more powerful than the GC.

anyways what does it matter? Is Mario 64 bad because it's not a realistic game? Hah, I laugh in the faces of anyone who says they only like realistic games. Put em in front of Mario Kart that's what I say...

Zelda needs to be a cartoony type game. That's where it's roots lie, in a cartoon world. I say good on Nintendo for sticking to their guns on that one.

Emmm, yes, that's all the Xbox is. But that computer happens to be the single most powerful console ever to be released, so whats your point?
