I did not notice this problem before because I was using a tiny portable but am now using my shiny new 21" beast
The problem I have noticed is that the screen appears to be slightly off centre with a slight band down the right hand side of the screen with the picture touching or past the left hand edge
It appears that the picture needs shifted 1cm to the right on the screen.
On a monitor this is easy but on the TV it is not so straight forward. I have tried it out on my other big TV and the problem is the same. This would lead me to believe it is the picture from the PS2 that is off centre
Does anyone know how to adjust the picture from the PS2?

I contacted Sharp who made the TV about this and they said
"Thank you for the email which you sent to us earlier today.
The symptom you have described is commonly associated with RGB
connectivity of games consoles to many different brands of TV set within
this price range.
Unlike some of our higher specification Widescreen TV sets, the 21HS50H
does not have the necessary processing power to compensate for the shift
in screen geometry which can often accompany RGB connection. Unlike TV
signals there is no processing carried out on RGB input which can mean
that, under certain conditions this misalignment will occur. It cannot
be permanently corrected by adjusting the TV set as this would then
impact on off-air signals."
Is it just me or have they just said get lost? Oh so I have a cheap rubbish TV (It still cost £200.00 for a 21") so tough luck. What gets on my nerves is the fact the manual states it has full Scart compatibility and the gimp in Comet where I got said it would work no bother
Nice to know these guys really care once they have your dosh
"Zoom" is in the verticle menu on my hitachi.
"RGB Shift" is in the Horizontal menu.
Unless I'm being an idiot and missing something very obvious. Which isn't out of the question!

But it also says that you can physically damager the TV if you
