It amazes me everytime when I'm playing computer games, someone from the female species says "why are you playing those silly computer games, haven't you got something better else to do"
I can think of alot of worse things to do, like spend five hours in front of a mirror putting on makeup and then taking it off again.
Ok there are a few girls out there that actually play games, but they are far and few between.
How many times have you heard this saying"I only play games for the taking part"
Rubbish!... What girl's fail to realise is that boys have a competitve side to then.
We must win, we can win at all costs even if it means cheating, we just have to win, win and win.We must not be beaten by a silly programer.

When playing goldeneye multiplayer, I mainly play for fun, but then the competitive streak does kick in and I have to try to win. I have suprised a few people who thought they were really good at the game.
When a girl is playing (except for family, I will always beat my sister at games) I will not go after her character but go after the guys who are playing and help the girl out. This is not to say that girls are useless at games but I won't play like that (its the same with most games and pool with me, I deliberately play below my level so it doesn't look like I'm trying to prove something, even if I get beaten its not something that bothers me.) Some girls like computer games and some don't.

Well, They have better things to do I s'pose and its really a boys world anyway. Motorbikes... Big, mean, 200mph machines and loads of men drive them but... you do see the occasional women which is cool...

They don't seem to have the same desired effect that us lads do, Mainly because its a boys world so many games are made partically for boys.
