They missed out quite a lot from the book.

Like Tom Bombadil, and the Barrow Downs. When they first met the Elves and when they were attacked by wolves.

You should read the book its great.

LOTR the two towers was one the best films I'd seen in over a year. better than die another day, SO much better than harry potter... it even surpasses the original.

the end battle seen is awesome, and anyone who says it isn't should have an xbox dropped on them from a great height.

good night.

People have told me to read the book but it seems sooooo long that i keep thinking it cant be worth the time to read it because im such a slow reader. I did kinda start after the last film came out but the beggining was so boring it spent about 10 pages describing a tree or something so i couldn't be bothered if it was going to be like that, is it like that all the way through?

I don't like reading but I thought the first movie was good. I don't know if it's anything like the book but it seem good. I might go see the The Lord Of The Rings: Two Towers if I have time.

Well you don't have to read the all-in-one version of the Lord of the Rings. Just read them separately, one by one.

I'm quite a fast reader so I was able to start "The Fellowship of the Ring" in October and I finished "The Return of the King" in the middle of November. Also I have aready read a 700 page book since then.

It was amazing, spectacular fighting scenes, although it was a bit confusing - I'll have to watch it again to undersand it properly
