I want to see all the films before I read the book. This is because I find things I wacth are easier to remember than a long book. I can then remember the film and compare with the book.

Its best to read the book and then watch the film, as the film misses out loads of the plot, so some of the film is just confusing.

Wow! a whole 1000 words!!! That's like, 5 PAGES!!!!
I cycled home from work in record-time, only expecting 3 famillies adults and young kids who I'd either never met before, or hadn't seen for a good-few years, but there were actually a lot more people there who'd just turned-up without even replying to their invites!
I crawled in the back-door, absolutely stattered, and my mum sees me "Ooooo! Come and say hello to everyone!!", dragging me round the whole house to meet EVERYONE!
I said "Hello." to everyone crammed into the kitchen, and then we went into the living room... I saw a few of my dad's mates, said "Merry Christams." to them, and then noticed a VERY-nice-looking girl in the corner of the room who I DEFINITLEY hadn't seen before!!
Her name was Katie, and she looked about my age. ;D
She gave me a nice wave and a big "HI!" as my eyes popped-out of my head, but I never got the chance to talk to her as her and her familly had to go only around 15 minutes later. :(
But I played pool with - and beat - her dad. That was good, he seemed to like me, so maybe he'll `pull-a-few-strings` to help things to go in my favour...! ;D
Unless, of course, she already has a boy-friend! :S
I heard them saying that that was why they had to leave, because their daughter had to see her boy-friend. But they do have another daughter who was waiting at home... :)
I can't stop thinking about her though! I've been thinking about her non-stop since I saw her...
My mum's on about having another party soon, and inviting the same people round again, aswell as more. Oh, how I hope so!! :D
Apparently her trousers kept falling-down too...
Damn! I wish I'd have gotten there earlier!!! :@
Why did I have to work yesterday!!
(To `talk` to her, obviously....)
My dad had given-up drinking too, untill last-night.
He was absolutely rat-@rsed!! It was so funny! :D
Usually he's embarassing, but not this time.
I pushed him away from he once, and he fell-onto one of those spinny officie chairs with wheels that sent him flying across the room! :D
And he was talking absolute rubbish to my mate (who I hadn't seen for about 2 years and is now about 9-foot tall!).
It was a great night overall.
Oh, and there was one kiddy in my room all-night playing on my GameCube and nearly all-15 of my games for at-least 6 hours!!
He was playing Super Smash Bros. most of the time, but I also heard StarFox, Mario SunShine, Pikmin, Agent Under Fire aswell.

Sorta, :)
Fellowship of the ring - Its the longest of them all and basically its the book which tells the history/landscape of the middle earth. Its boring but once you read it you'll know alot about the ring etc.
The Two towers - This is where it starts heating up, Its starting to dig into what made Lord of the rings an epic. its a great read.
The return of the King - I have to say this is the best of them all, Even though its the shortest but hey :) The climax of the story is brilliant knowing all the friendships and up/downs of each character. You'll relise that you are in love with the Middle Earth and Lord of the rings :)
(Really, Well. Thats what i thought)
Shame for anyone who didn't read it eh? I bet now the sales would by now will Stop. Full stop. Every young child will now know just to watch the film instead of reading the blummin' book :D
I'm getting the Lord of the rings Box set of all 3 films if there ever is one probly in 2004. Can't wait. I bet its something like 7 discs... :)

It's not that I'm a complete idiot, that I can't read a book in 10 months. I've read quite a few books in between, like Adrian Mole and Andy Mcnab's Immediate Action. It's just I'm not that much of an avid reader. If I find something I really enjoy I'll probably read it pretty quickly. For instance I read the first LOTR book in about a week.
There is this one guy in my science set at school, who reads, on average, one book every two days! And they ain't small ones either! But he's a complete muppet, anyway.
