Hmm, first time driver, even with a car in the cheapest insurance grade, I think you're still looking at upwards of a grand a year... Still, I'm sure you can check easily enough.

Didn't go too badly. First question was sound, the second was less good. Not sure how it'll work out for a mark...
Thing is though, at the end, the invigilators said 'all those doing 1 1/2 hour papers please stop writing now and leave quietly'.
Today there was an e-mail sent round saying how some people had thought the paper was 2 hours, and for them to get in contact with people...

Then you've gotta pay for the lessons, then it's £50 for the test.
Believe me in the long run you don't wanna be getting some crappy £300 car that's gonna fall apart on you when it goes over 50.

Talk to Parr, he was planning on buying a car, and he should be able to give you some advice.
