Don't put him down when you talk to her. That'd be my advice now. If she's losing interest she will anyway without your help. If not, bad-mouthing him won't do you nay good.
If she ever wants to talk, complain about him, just listen.
Not a great position. Do you try and risk blowing it, or do you leave it?
A tough one, no doubt.
My adivce:
Feck it. Go find some other girl, nothing serioous, but it'll take your mind off her. Remember me saying she's not that special? Yeah.
Keep in touch with her, maybe at another time in the future things could work out.
But now? It's just not happening is it?
So, some other girl, a casual easy thing, and keep the door open with the girl from work for the future.
Yes, even though I'm stuck in a class with 16-to-17-year-olds.
The good thing about being one-of-two 18-year-olds in a 16-man class of "Year 12's" though is that, no matter how 'cool' they think they are, they all seem to show me "respect", you know?
For example: Instead of coming up to me and just taking something, they'll actually ask me if they could please "borrow" it for just a second, and stuff like that! :)
It's brilliant! I feel like... "Royalty", or something! :D
They all seem alright though - even the ones who smoke!
The course "tutors" seem like good people, also, and the Carpentry course seems like a bloody good one, too.
The bad parts? I either have to get a lift from my dad or the bus there, every Tuesday and Wedensday - my ONLY days of the week :) - for 9:00am in the morning, until 6:00pm...! :(
And with 5 90-minute lessons on each-day, it really does "drag" when you're new to it all, don't know what's going on, and are only just getting started.
Still, there's only 13 days until I take my driving test now! :D
It turns-out that she definitley IS going-out with this `Idiot´, and that is the reason as to why the guy's been so "cocky" around work for the past few months!
There goes my chance with her! :(
But I still know he's wrong for her...
He claims to be "a changed man" now he has a girlfriend, but I still see him 'all-over' this girl down in the shop during his breaks, and not with her. He leans so-far-over the counter "talking" to her you could practically say he was between her legs (..or something...)!! He plays-around with her, gets stuff for her (like food and drinks), and yet his `girlfriend´ doesn't seem to care!
Perhaps she doesn't know??
Although, I very much doubt it, seeing as everyone-else seems to have noticed...!
She never seems to happ anymore, though... Yesterday, she looked as if there was something bothering her, and she really was quite "lost" and sounded "bothered" for the whole day. And when they walked past each other first-thing in the morning, they barely even said "Good morning". And it wasn't like there were too many smiles envolved, either.
He still seems as upbeat and ready-to-pounce as ever, though.
So, it doesn't appear as if something had happened between them.
I'm starting to treat him like the lump of cack you scrape of the under-side of your shoe, right now, just because of how he is; laughing at his expense with every-single chance I get.
I know it won't be right, and that eventually, something's gonna go 'wrong'. But what do I do about it??
Do I still tell her how I feel about her?
Or would that really mess things up with me and her, if she really IS happy with him, after all...? I reckon there's a chance she might 'explode' on me, like she has done to other people in the past... :S
Or should I just keep this Incubus CD (`Morning View´) playing and try to tell myself "it's Just a Phase" that "will be over soon"....?
I hate love! :P
I suck.
Got my visa confirmation today :^)
Just need to buy my insurance and plane tickets, send them a photocopy, and they'll post me my official letter thing.
Then I fly to Toronto, give someone my official letter thing, they staple my visa into my passport and I'm good to go.
Just call me Iksdesur Gerg
I wrote my first review in like 5 years and won, so I'm thinking of getting that...
Or, should I get something else?
> Really annoyed I missed it now!
You can borrow my Yamakasi DVD if you like - it wasn't up to that standard and it's all in French, but you get the jist of the plot by the end :^)
