I need a new job... I need to make some more money for uni so I can learn to drive... plus Waitrose evening job may clash with my university Time table...

I really cannot be bothered to deal with this...

Plus I have to wait and see...

This is depressing.

I put out a few speculative e-mails for jobs today. A couple of rejections already.
Tried a recruitment web site, nothing realistic available. I applied for a job selling advertising space on Canadian TV just to get *something* out there.
The last site I tried had a couple of crap scam-like jobs and work from home stuff, and a bunch of ads taken out by people *looking* for work. In the vacancies available section.

I'm beginning to doubt I'll get me something for when I fly out.

Pool cue, 3 piece (so you can unscrew the last one for close walls) witha 3/4 split plus an extension bit that screws into the back for long rest shots (okay, technically it's a snooker cue :^) ), plus a hard case which holds all 4 bits.
An absolute bargain, and a very nice piece of kit.

Only problem? I'm going to Canada, where bigger pool balls mean the game is played with wider cues, so it won't be much use for a year or so.

Never the less, it's the nuts, and hopefully a sound investment. Hopefully. :^)


Not heard anything from Teeside yet. I was hoping that if I'd get a place I could have it confirmed before I go away.
I might give them a call...

Good to hear college is working out too.

As for the driving test: Give me some advice on parallel parking dammit, that's (hopefully) the only thing they can fail me on now.
