Well I have the patch and it works fine. You sure you have the latest MSN version?

To be quite honest, I wouldn't trust anything you got randomly sent in a text message. I've tried those sorts of things before (the "FREE RINGTONES!!!11!" ones) and you only end-up paying too-much-money on a whole load of crap basicaly. There are some that can be much-worse than that, too...
My mum's stuck on one right now, actually. After originaly texting to get some crappy Ringtones, she has to pay for each random text message she recieves, and, as far as her and several other people who have been caught like this can tell, there's no way of getting out of it and 'stopping' them without changing sim cards altogether!
That's what someone we know had to do (infact, she was that `two-years-younger´ I used to have a thing for, if you remember that, 2-years-ago...). Yep. Didn't like having to pay for them all; couldn't find a way to stop it, so had to buy a new sim card (...and, "as you do", bought an all-new phone to go with it).
So, by all means, check it out, first! :)
They're bloody annoying... Just like 16-year-old Townies in your Carpentry class at college! :P
And, tphi; I tried that patch you told me about, but it still doesn't seem to quite do it. Yes, you can view people's profiles, but it still doesn't seem you are able to search for profiles on the MSN Member Directory still, either. :(
