To become a game tester you can just be a monkey. If you want to go into programming I advise taking Computing and Maths. Physics may help a bit.

I don't think your gonna have to worry about playing one of the games before seeing the film. As far as I know, the film doesn't really follow the plot of any of the games, and none of the characters in the film are out of the games. About the only thing from the games which are in the film as far as I know, and the lickers. (evil monster things with long licking tongs, for those who haven't played a RE game yet!)

In all honesty I've somehow never been to see an 18 rated film to my knowledge, not before I turned 18 anyway
I don't go to the cinema much, most of the films I see are 15 or lower
