Yeah, chubby woman with specs. She taught us the history of computing (a rather biased view) and web design. She also was on a TV programme last year, apparently. I say that because only one person (a member of staff) saw it.

I said something about it being border-line, it made her laugh, must've been a reasonable answer. Dunno if you know of her, Hilary (or something) Kahn...

Yes, fish and chips - very good choice! Mmmmmm...

Well done, mate. ;D

Speaking of planning for the future, my head was recently given an incredible idea for something could do in a few years time - travel to Australia and work for an entire year. :o

I love the sound of this idea. I only need the rest of my qualifications, more experience and then the money, I suppose...?
According to a local guy who's done this already, Carpentry it still one of Australia's biggest 'things' - and they're always looking for new workers (he found it easy getting a job there a few years back - and now we're a breed on the verge of extinction).

You see, with this, I want to distinct myself as far from all the idiots and 'problem' people learning this trade because it's all their GCSEs can get them, right now... I could have done one of MANY things, but I chose Carpentry and Joinery. With the impression I get from my 17-year-old classmates, the trade could be better off without an extra 15 of this lot, even if it meant twice-as-much work for the rest of us! :P

It wouldn't even have to be for a full-year. I don't know how well I'd cope away from home for that long... A 6-month visa could suit me just fine. I could kill two birds with one stone - I'm eager to find all the answers on my only best-friend who no-one's heard of in the nine-years since his familly emmigrated and suddenly stopped writing....

Good or bad, I just need to know. I'm sure it's been on my mind for every single day since, and I because I never really dealt with or prepared for it at the time, it's given me social problems since, or so I believe.

:)
