Other News
Force Unleashed 2 - release date end of October
Sonic Colours and Sonic 4 footage available
Some N64 games coming to 3DS - I've seen Paper Mario, Star Fox 64, Pilotwings and Ocarina of Time
Rock Band 3 - talk of 2 different guitars: a 17 fret full of buttons with 6 strings to play and a 22 fret full strings guitar. Keyboard has 25 keys (a 2 octave range). Drums can now have 3 cymbal add ons for up to 7 'pads'. Pro mode on the hardest setting will basically be playing the song. Guitar pro mode will have 6 lines, 1 for each string, the track will come down to indicate the string and a number for the fret to press. Keyboard pro mode will have colours for certain note ranges and arrows indicating that the track path will move left and right, also has white and black symbols to indicate white and black keys. Drum pro mode includes little cymbal pictures over the appropiate colour. 83 song set list with all Rock Band and Rock Band 2 (and Green Day Rock Band) songs available for RB3. New search options in game for songs and a rating system so you play what you like.
Darksiders 2 announced - release date is 2012.
Saints Row 3 confirmed
New Mario Kart coming for the 3DS
New You Don't Know Jack in the works
Test Drive Unlimited 2 - September release
Not too fussed about the motion sensing technology if I'm honest, so wont be picking that up. May be an interesting read though, just to see what ideas they have come up with.
Oh, and obviously looking forward to Sonic 4 info like everyone else :)
But Pikmin 3 has been in development a while apparently so expect that. Rumours are floating around about a new Mario Kart or Starfox. Both would be good news :)
Luigi's Mansion oddly enough could happen seeing as Nintendo trademarked it again and also the voice actor for Mario mentioned in the past he was recording for a new Mario series title that wasn't New Super Mario Bros Wii or Mario Galaxy 2. Would love to see the game come back for a sequel.
Then Sonic Colours, Conduit 2, Sonic 4 and something I'm really hoping to be amazing is Epic Mickey. Apparently it has gotten a new face lift and if the artwork is anything to go by we could be in for a treat. Rock Band 3? New keyboard included this time. Fun fun.
In terms of Sony and Microsoft we have the two motion sensing hardware pieces, the new Halo, Gran Turismo etc... but I'm not bothered by Sony. Might watch Microsoft if I get a chance.
Microsoft will give definitive pricing and release date for Natal, as well as showing off a few more games and uses for it.
Nintendo will re-show the Vitality Sensor, my reaction of "lol wut" will stay the same unless it has real applications. Some new Mario game will be shown, possibly Mario at the World Cup...or something.
Sony will show off Playstation Move, possibly showing games running on it in real time. They will also show more off of LittleBigPlanet 2, and finally give a release date for GT5. 3D gaming will be shown on the PS3. The long awaited PSN Dreamcast classics will be shown, as well as the new premium PSN services. Sonic Adventure will be available for free for those who get PSNP in the first few weeks.
