Which just shows that different things appeal to different people!
Kevin Butler, for many, was the pinnacle of an otherwise lacklustre E3.
As a whole, I thought EAs presentation was actually the strongest out of everyone's.
Sony showed plenty of games I'm interested in, Microsoft only dedicated 15 minutes to games like Gears that I'll be playing. Nintendo had some good content, but not much to excite me and I'm waiting to get hands on with the 3DS to really decide if it's worth it.
Kinect and Move are not that interesting to me at the moment and I won't be getting them at launch. Wait a year, maybe, to see what they can do with it first.
And Sony had absolutely nothing new or original to show. The Move packages... has anyone not learnt from the Premium/Arcade debacle that multiple SKUs confuse the consumer?
I think Nintendo had the best of the 3, by far. Even though they relied on 2D platformers of reliable franchises, and a disappointing Zelda, it still had the content and originality - and of course the 3DS.
Microsoft's presenters you could tell were nervous, overcompensating by screaming and making awkward noises as they pranced about in front of Natal/Kinect.
3DS was actually the only product from all 3 conferences showcased that I was genuinely putting down as a must buy.
MS should have shown off Gears 3 and more Halo Reach really, they just didn't do much for core gamers at their show despite having the software there.
Nintendo had 3DS, interesting but I need to see more. Just Dance 2 looks good.
