I am listening to:
Pennywise (So-Cal Power Punk)
Capdown (UK Ska'rdcore)
Bad Religion (one of the biggest US Punk Rock bands of the 80's and 90's)
GreenDay (C'mon you've heard of these guys... haven't you?)
Descendents (early pop-punk with an 80's hard-edge)
PS Limp Bizkit, Korn and their ilk do not qualify as punk, so (at the risk of being unpopular) I don't want them discussed here...
I also want to hear from people who maybe hate punk rock and get their views and angles... just as long as it doesn't resort to pointless namecalling...
what do the foo fighters come under?
... not bad though seeing as i have just been introduced to them(thanks andy)

Oh oh oh American Hi Fi, got there album it's damn good.
By the way hate to be picky but it's too stoned, if it was two stone then I would be kinda worried about the guys weight.
> Did ya get the title from a NOFX song?

> Pistols but anyway, good too see someone else has got some taste in music.
PS EVERY1 WHO LIKES THIS STUFF GO OUT AND BUY AN ALBUM BY A BAND CALLED 'CAPDOWN' They have 2 albums out 'Civil diobediants' and 'Pound for the Sound'. U can get em REAL cheap off of:
www.householdnamerecords.co.uk
(or it may be .com I'm not sure)
Anyways check em out cos they rock. They mix Hardcore (heavy punk style) with Ska (Ska as in less than jake with horns etc) and (suprisingly) it works incredibly well. Does anyone else also like buying stuff from the 80's? Like Operation Ivy (80's Ska-Punk featuring members of Rancid) and Minor Threat (80's Hardcore featuring member of Fugazi) Fugazi are the guys who invented post hardcore (just incase u didn't know).
PS the Vandals ROCK too. 'My girlfriends dead is one of the funniest tracks ever and 'Ape Drape' is a classic. 'idea for a movie' is also cool. I wanna get their christmas special 'Oi to the world' as its supposedly their best album. Anyways gotta go now but keep this topic high. and post your thoughts and stuf on best punk bands etc. that no1 has ever heard of.
