"Just got Def Jam Vendetta..."

Brilliant! Wasn't sure what to expect but its absolutley brilliant. I went into Survival mode straight away and lost in my first fight. I quickly went to the Tutorial section and looked at the 10 Tutorials. The frame rate is a solid 60 FPS and the game runs liks a sweet Ferrari. A lot of the moves are taken straight from the WWE so it doesn't feel out of place at all. Hell in a Cell and Table matches would have made the game something VERY VERY special but I will settle for whats there :) A quick question for Tilta if he is around...

Is there a special move like The Rock Bottom? With Ghost Face Killer I have done the modified Rock Bottom twist but it isn't his finishing move. I am still trying to find someone who has got a really special finisher but I aren't succeeding very well. I like Capones finisher where he punches them loads of times and then just knocks them over :) Sweet sweet move...

I tried Story mode for a bit but I have just taken a break at the moment. I will go back later on and master the game a bit more. In the mean time a little help with whose finisher looks good etc would be appreciated, thankyou.

Yeah, I have to admit Fire Pro Wrestling Z sounds sooo good. Ask Hercules for all the info he's got the game.

Its good, but not as good as Fire Pro Wrestling Z.

I am on my 3rd time through just at the moment with Proof. I have done it with Spider and Biggs. It is the best wrestling game ever without a doubt. I aren't too bothered about weapons but Hell in a Cell and Tables would be VERY welcome. I still aren't sure what happens when you finish story mode with all 4 characters?! You can't go back and play it through with ones you have completed it with so fingers crossed more will be available.

Just completed story mode with Spider. Angel without doubt has the best gallery! dead ringer for Christina Milian!

Love the game, but i think No Mercy would be better if it was as fast as def jam. weapons in def jam 2 anyone? Just wish AKI had developed wrestlemania on the Cube. Did THQ ditch them becasue of the no mercy glitch?

NBA street 2 is in the post and should hopefully get it in the morning!

Medal of honour on the consoles probably isn't half as good as the pc version another brilliant Ea creation...

I'm getting an XBox and a load of games and Xbox Live in July. Also there's about 5 games coming out over summer on Cube that I want.

I'm gonna be busy.

I don't mind MOF but it did get very boring after finishing it once. I quite enjoyed NBA STREET on the PS2 as well so I will be getting NBA STREET 2 over the summer. The great thing is the fact that my GCSE's are practically over in 2 weeks and there are only a few games I want over the summer. I can get a job, save up for my Widescreen TV and pick up some titles I have missed out on. I think I will go for:

NBA Street 2
Burnout 2
Skies of Arcadia
Luigi's Mansion
Resident Evil Zero
Super Monkey Ball 2
Jet Set Radio Future
Panzer Dragoon Orta
Return to Castle Wolfenstein (Xbox version)

I have seen a few of these for under £15 new so I won't have any trouble picking all those up over the summer. I am focusing on my TV first but I will pick some of them up in between :)

Every single EA Big title that i've played has been high quality.

EA aren't as bad as people make them out, okay so 'The Sims' franchise milking is terrible and the James Bond games are less than playable..oh and some o fthier sports series are pretty pants too. But i've enjoyed tons of their recent games such as NBA Street 2, Medal of Honor etc etc

Some of the finishers are really disappointing but then there are the EXCEPTIONAL ones which deserve full credit. Just played a bit with Ruffneck and although his base moes are pretty average I thought both of his finishers were exremely brutal and they made me cringe!

I have played it for the most of the day and for once a title associated with EA has kept my interested for more than 10 minutes. The game is absolute genius and I would definitley say that it is a must purchase!
