The game forums are closing, so i am moving the popular FF forum here. No spamming, just 100% FF. Let's start with a question.... which of the FFs is the best?

when will it go down in price? you might find it cheap second hand, if you get it now it will give you time to play through it and maybe go again doing even more, like the monster arena and alot of the sub quests

OK. Buy it now, or wait till it goes down in price?

Well X-2 follows straight on from FFX, so you'll have no idea what's going on if you don't buy X first.
And there's the whole back-story and in-jokes and sub-plots and revelations and tying-up loose ends, and meeting old friends and old enemies ... and you won't have a clue what's happening.

So ... buy FFX first.
X-2's still a mighty long way off. Wouldn't be surprised if a PAL release was this time next year.
Poop.

I have never played Final Fantasy X.

Should I buy it now it's platinum or wait for Final Fantasy X-2?

Thanks to anyone whi gave me advice, but after writing that message yesterday I decied to set my Ps2 up again.

I decided not train up anymore so I just went after Sin and defeated that so I then put no-encounters armour on and went to Seymour and beat him easily, then it was onto Jecht who was easy because all 3 characters has autolife, I then defeated all my aeons and finally defeated Yu Yevon.

After I did that, watched Bullet proof monk, I watched the cutscene and even sat through the credits and all that happended was tidus video thing and then the end.

So I turned it off.

dark matter can only be won at the blitzball stadium once omeg weapon has been defeated, and one of the monsters in the monster arena will give you doors to tommorws, but he is quite hard.

Ooh .... it seems so long ago now.
Dunno where you can get those items. I think I remember Bribing Molboros (sp?) for some rare items a lot. Go try that.

As for what to do next, I'd clear up the monster arena by catching 10 of every monster from everywhere. Then you can fight new monsters which usually have rare weapons and get load of experience and stuff.

I don't think you can.
I was searching a while back, and the prices go way up there. Which sucks.
I'd like to start a proper FF collection, but I have no moola. As always.
Gah!
