The game forums are closing, so i am moving the popular FF forum here. No spamming, just 100% FF. Let's start with a question.... which of the FFs is the best?

2005? You think there'll be a three year wait? Come on, the waiting times for European games to come out are bad, but not that bad.

if ff11 doesn't get converted something tells me there'd be a bit of a backlash on square from the european public

I think that Final Fantasy 11 may not see a European conversion even longer than is estimated maybe even 2004/5 or it may never get converted as Capcom showed us that they know we dont want to play Capcom vs. SNK 2 when they removed the online function.

I mean Square are Japanese developers and they may also think the same way as Capcom and decide for us that our technology is far behind compared to theirs so they wont convert it.

That means it may come out in Europe when the PS3 comes which Sony say is the real thing when it comes to online gaming, PS2 is like a test.

The graphics aren't even as good as FFX, all sources say so. It's because of the sheer amount of movement and controllable objects on screen.

ff11 looks amazing the graphics are gob smacking.

FF should stay as an RPG. Both Chocobo racing and Ehrgeiz were rubbish.

i know some of the mini games were bad, but there is a big time diffrence to when the snowboarding game and ssx tricky were made, im not saying it would be better its just a thought.

Hmmmm I don't think so. It is not a very good mini-game, and compared with SSX??? Doubtful. Chocobo racing was pants, and that was made to compete with Mario Kart. The mini-game which it was supposedly derived from was good, but the game was crap. Nah, I don't think that the snowboarding on FF7 would make a very good game.

i was just playing ff7 a while back and i can tell you the snow board game in that has a lot of potential, if it were updated into a seperate game and improved it could easyily be a threat to games like ssx tricky!

It was among the first generation of 32 bit RPGs.
