The game forums are closing, so i am moving the popular FF forum here. No spamming, just 100% FF. Let's start with a question.... which of the FFs is the best?

It's confirmed. They are remaking FF7, 8 and 9. But they have postponed it indefinitely. Aww.

I prefer 7 by far, then 8 then 9. 9 just didn't have that epic feel that the other two have, I haven't really thought about it at all since I have completed it. I think that's a good way to tell - if you still occasionally think about a game years after completion it's definitely a classic.

FF8 caused me a lot of aggrevation as well. But ff7 was a joy to play, an absolute joy.

Yeah, I heard it's really hard, is that so, I completed FF8 with a lot of frustration, so 9 is my fave cos' i didn't spend too much time going back and forth.

97 FF7 was released. anyway i think 7 is the best followed by 9 then 8. or if we're including FF tactics as well then that's the 2nd best but FF7 just ruled. great plot

Bought FF9 this morning, will have a good session in the morning - so to speak.

Just to put my view over FF7 as the best followed by FF8 then FF9. But what i want to know is when FF10 is out. Anyone??

Final Fantasy 8 is a good game but is totaly different to ff9 & 7, so dont judge them all from this one, which i think is probably the worst one.

So are you all agreed that FF7 is the best so far ?
I don't own any but have borrowed FF8 today, looks a bit complicated in places.

plus also the game was released in 96 or 97 can't remember so the graphics aren't going to be breathtaking now but the gameplay and story are briliant
