No you don't seem to understand. I know where he is, but he's just impossible to beat! Anyway I've got him now...I beat him...just...now I'm onto disk 3. I hardly ever use him either, was it worth it? Hell Yeah it was worth it! After all, I am Tazz. And Challenge and Competition are my middle names!

As for Omega weapon.....he's the toughest boss in FF8 and one of the toughest in the whole of Final Fantasy but he's still pretty easy to defeat. Although the 3 stars item isn't that important, as all my characters have access to 3 stars, the message you get in the Tutorial section is nice to read.

Once you have left Galbadia Garden you won't get a chance to defeat him.....hang on ....yes you can gain him again but not the same one in the same place. At the very end of the game you enter Ultimecia's Castle and you have to defeat the servant bosses in order to gain abilities (well you don't have to but it makes it slightly difficult to fight without the essential abilities). If you have missed the first oppourtunity battle Gargantua (in the armoury) anddraw Cerberus from him. I only discovered this second method because I didn't want to gain Cerberus the first time and so didn't battle him.

I know how to get Cerberus (although I hardly use him). You find him in Galbadia Garden just before the battle with Seifer and Edea. He's in the main hall/centre (you will have passed through it earlier in the game-where the 4 paths meet and there's a large pillar of light). If you run up to thie pillar of light the battle should start immediately.

i do remember defeating him (twice actually once for me and once for my friend) but i did it so long ago i can't remember what exactly i did....probably used magic and summons
for all FF8 people...try and beat omega weapon...very difficult but very satisfying once it's done.

or alternatively get a snes emulator and get the roms for FF4 and 5...
also if you do also get chrono trigger...made by the same team (i think) and is just as good if not better...

Has ANYONE got Cerberus on FF8?? If you have I am in awe of you. I also need to know that if I don't beat him now, will I get another chance to beat him after I've completely destroyed the Sorceress? Could someone PLEASE give me tips on how to beat the thing? Or I'm afraid I'm going to change my tagline to "I h8 Cerberus".

I'm an-extremely-frustrated-ready-to-sue-Square-Soft Tazz.
