The game forums are closing, so i am moving the popular FF forum here. No spamming, just 100% FF. Let's start with a question.... which of the FFs is the best?

Oh and take into account it's called Final 'Fantasy' :-)

Errrrrr...all I can say is you should buy Dead Or ALive Beachball. You'll porbably like it taking that comment into account.

When I tried it for the second time and did it (though didn't save it) Wakka came over and said "WOW! Do taht again". So I set myself up and got ready for the taunts again. However, Tidus just thwacked the ball out into the sea. Dunno if you're supposed to do it again or not.

However, Yuna's speech was identical except for her first line or so. She said something different but then the conversation just turned into the same one that it had been when I failed. Because of this, I assumed it didn't matter if you succeeded or failed so I just loaded my game that I had failed in.

Worst mistake so far! At least in the battles that I make stupid mistakes in, I can just refight them. I can't get the bloody Jecht shot now! I hate that in games! SO MUCH!!

i think the jecht shot is one of the reasons why i always won at first...i didn't actually realise until much later that the jecht shot got rid of two of the blockers...

also the cut scenes are different if you eliminate all the taunts...
if you succeed wakka comes over and goes WOW etc....
and yuna says something different.

I know! It was stupid! It said press the direction when you are told, but then Jecht's dialog appears in text seemingly randomly around the screen. However, the second time I attempted it, I realised that you have to press the direction aiming towards the dialog. It could have been explained a bit better I think. then I'd have that goddammit sphere shot and I may not have dropped myself from my own damn team!

boh i failed that jecht shot too. it didnt tell me when to press the buttons!

I KNEW IT!!! I KNEW I SHOULD HAVE TRIED IT AGAIN!!! HOW ANNOYING!!!

I failed the first time as I had no idea when I was supposed to press the button. However, once I failed it, I saved it. Then I reloaded my game and tried again. I did it with ease this time (as I realised I was supposed to press it when the text appeared) but the exact same cut scene with Yuna happened so I just loaded my game again and continued (having not done it correctly on this game).

DAMMIT!! I knew something wouls happen. Why didn't I jsut trust my goddamm feelings! Like a Jedi! Grrr....

I hate that in games! I hate it when you have one chance at something and if you fail, that's it, you can't get it on your game!

my config is...
tidus up front with datto (i mostly use tidus to score cos he has a 30 SHT and a really hight END)
letty is in the middle cos he has a really high pass around 30
and botta and dassu at the back...
keepa as goalie

you know when you're on the ship when you're setting off somewhere (i can't remember -well it's before you reach luca that's for sure) and tidus remembers the time when jecht was telling him that he would never be able to pull off the jecht shot...
tidus then tries to pull off the jecht shot and you have to help him concentrate by eliminating all of jecht's taunts which appear all over teh screen...
if you do it then you get the jecht shot
