The game forums are closing, so i am moving the popular FF forum here. No spamming, just 100% FF. Let's start with a question.... which of the FFs is the best?

I would agree with blank - get ff8

My advice is FF8. Far better in my opinion. Although FF9 is still worth a look. Generally people love 8 and hate 9 or hate 8 and love 9. It's hard to predict which you'll be. :)

I was going to buy FF8 or FF9 today.

Which one should I get? I'll probably get both in the end but I was wondering which one I should go for first.

Done Defender X, and them Ronso's, Kiran and Yenke is it? Anyway done em. Now im on the bit after that, going to the temple. Lucky i saved it after The Ronso fight, as i died on my way to the Temple as some of them monsters ambush you straight away and have about 6 goes before its your turn!

but i cant beat him 5 times in a row on the third fight he ambushes me and uses wakisashi which i dont have enough hp to defend for

mines ff8 too + squall or rinoa for me ff7 the whole story is set almost from the beginning with fightin sephiroth and all
