Personally, I can't think why no-one really like 9 that much. Sure, it's a little light-weight but I love the 'olde worlde' theme throughout which included the music.
The graphics still look lush even compared to some PS2 titles. The story may be a little bit of a FF4 rip-off near the ned, but it's still good - you can't say ANY FF has a really bad story.
There's lots of side-quests includig the massive Chocobo one - has some of the most interesting characters and diverse landscapes.
It's all good as far as I can see.
For no-one who's played FF before, i'd recomend 9 for them - a FF beginners game.
Play nice now, no pointless squabbles.
