Yeah, Break MP is pretty useless.
If you people are right up to full power, phsical attacks usualy do more damage than magic. You'll never need more than 999MP anyway.

Auto-Haste and Auto-Pheonix rule.
Ribbon is essential when fighting side-area bosses, dark Aeons etc.

I've posted about this somewhere else, can't remember where....

It was a passing remark made by the square director. I think he must have been asked about it, and he said that his staff were keen but not so sure. Later on I'll dig out the translation of the Interview. I'm pretty sure I've posted it somewhere :(

I consider the two most important things to put on armour to be Break HP Limit and Ribbon. Beyond that, its up to the character. Break MP for some, Auto-haste for others etc...

As for stats at 255 across the board. I have done that for everything except luck. Its easy to get enough strength spheres, and stuff, but luck is another story...

You start with luck at about 20, so you need another 235 to get to max.
Each node gets you up +4 when you get luck nodes from the Greater Sphere (original monsters), so you need 59 luck spheres. Assuming you get an overkill everytime, it means you have to fight the Greater Sphere 30 times. Thats not so bad, but...

To activate the Luck nodes, you need to use fortune spheres. Where as luck nodes can be used by all seven characters, fortune spheres are one per person. That means that for every luck node you put down, you need 7 fortune spheres... which is 413 total.

To get 413 fortune spheres... assuming again that you get an overkill everytime, you need to defeat the Earth Eater (original monster again) 207 times.

Who else doesn`t fancy fighting the Earth Eater 207 times?

Sorry to dissapoint you FM. I have the official guide and it doesn't mention Auto-Life. So I'm thinking probably not.

Auto-Phenoix is fine if you have it on all characters though :)

I was looking at Auto-Phoenix but then discarded it when I realised that if the character that had the ability was killed it was pretty useless. (Mind you the same could be said for any ability in that case).

Wonder if you can customise Auto-Life?

In FFX has anyone maxed out their character stats to 255 across the board yet?

Is this actually possible given the constraints of the Sphere Grid?

Any ideas for the best armour/weapon attributes to customise? (I'm thinking Ribbon/HP Break for the fighters and maybe Ribbon/HP break/MP Break for the magic users but I'm only up to beating Dark Valefor so far, stats for my characters are currently in the 100s so I'm not really that far advanced yet). Assume all characters are using Celestial Weapons.

I'm thinking of doing the following on one of my 4 slot armours:

Auto-Haste
Auto-Shield
Auto-Protect
Auto-Reflect

But I'm not sure how useful this will be compared to other combos. Any better ideas out there?

Finally....Land Worms. They're meant to be in the Sin location but I've never seen one. Do they exist and are they mega-rare or something?
