Speaking of Tactics, is anyone secretly looking foward to Final Fantasy Tactics on the Gamecube?
definately tactics arent required in ffx just go mad with aeons and overdrives irvines limit was good in ff8 where you have to hammer the r1 button to fire bullets as well as renzokuken
I do tend to feel RPG's now require more patience and less skill than they used to. You used to have to think over tactics, which FFX tried to incorporate, but it was so painfully obvious who should attack what, that there was no skill in having to work such thing out.
I hope the game's harder than the original as the main part of the game was just insanely easy.
The battles could be like Ring of Red where a target moves over the enemies and you have to press when you want to fire. And the aeons, well, they dissapeared, but so did Tidus, and he's found his way back. There'll be some twist. Has to be. Maybe that new women comes from another planet where there are other aeons? I hope the Weapons are back as well, but I hope they strike more fear like they did in FF7 and 8. They were mammoth monsters.
It'll just be like using Barret in FF7, to be honest.
That said, she's got guns so she'll just shoot everything in the head. Seems much easier than all this summoning lark, blow thier brains out.
It'll be interesting to see how they handle that aspect of it, becuae it's gotta be there. It's a tradition.

Perhaps there will be a new power that Yuna can summon this time around. Either that or maybe a ceremony she has to perform every time to bring each one back and maybe a couple of new ones.
And has anyone given a thought to the aeons side to the game? Becuase they've all gone if you remeber.

Always liked the job system so i'm happy to see it return and the possibility of seeing the women of FFX getting nekked in a game just makes me even happier.
