To me, there is a vast range of titles there... enough new ideas, enough remakes and some classics re-born...

Whatever the PS2 throws at customers the GC can more than compensate for...

For your Deus Ex and Max Payne we have Metroid Prime and Perfect Dark. For your Jak and Daxter we have Conker's Bad Fur Day II, for your MGS2.... well... Perfect Dark should be like that... do you have anything for PIKMIN? StarFox? PokÈmon? Kameo? Mario Kart? DKR? And you DON'T have a GBA... good old Trojan horse that it is...!

I know I knock the PS2 a lot, but I wouldn't do it if I didn't think Nintendo would be able to back me up... if you will!

Look at those games and tell me honestly that they won't sell systems... if you can do that - you're clueless!

It's personal opinion though, isn't it. I see Luigi's Mansion as a 'must-have' where perhaps you wouldn't.

Surely those that intend to buy a GAMECUBE would have more 'must-have' GCN games than PS2 games, else they would already have gone and gotten a PS2, just like those that intend to get a PS2 or an Xbox will do so because they feel that that particular machine has more 'must-have' titles.
