Right, some company just got rid of Resi and sold it to Nintendo.

It is one of our best games and it has a home here.

Now we won't get to play any new ones because they are remaking new the old ones, and making new ones, for the gameCube.



It's a sad day for all.

Devil May Cry, Onimusha and Onimusha 2 are PS2 exclusive, at least for now.

I don't mind games that go multi-platform, but I'm not overly keen on platform-exclusive titles.

Still, life sucks.

At least there are some likely classics coming that will never appear on another platform. Why? Because they're made by Sony...

A sequel to Devil May cry wouldn't be unappreciated......

capcom will be back once again with their tails between their legs after it doesn't work out with nintendo and hopefully this time sony sticks both fingers on each hand up and tells them where to stick it cause ain't no developer bigger than the system they develop for hich capcom obviously think they are going off with every console and his sister

I personally am a huge Resi fan, and I am also a proud PS2 fan. So to see the Res series move to GameCube after FINALLY coming back to it's original home (Sony) afte rtraitoring off with Sega is simply terrible. They went off with Sega, didn't do amazingly well, and so they came crawling back to Sony, who obviously let them back, and all was forgiven. But thten they go off (AGAIN!), but this time with Nintendo! C'MON! It'll be X-Box next! (Please no! For my sanity, NO!) Capcom suck at promises. The orginal Resident Evil 2 was scrapped, Resident Evil the movie has been delayed and altered more times than I care to remember, Resident Evil 4 was going to be PS2 EXCLUSIVE and now it's NOT EVEN GONNA BE ON THE PS2!

They have signed a contract with Nintendo that grants them a re-make of Resident Evil 1, Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Resident Evil: Code Veronica, AND (This p|sses me off the most, which is saying something seeing as the re-makes look AWESOME), Resident Evil 4 will now be GAMECUBE EXCLUSIVE. All together now, ahem.......

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Ahem, right.

So Capcom still will MAYBE make games for Sony, but none of the above, and probably not for another 4-6 years. And that my friends, sucks.

But, seeing as Capcom suck at keeping promises, they could maybe bring out alternate re-makes for the PS2 as this wouldn't br breaching any contracts... But I really wouldn't get your hopes up. :-(

Well going that the Gamecube is the BEST console out of the next bunch of super consoles, it should RIGHTLY get all these great games!

we even lost the right to have SSX Tricky exclusive to PS2.... Gamecube got that as well. GC got Sonic, PSO, so that is sort of the Segatendo Gamecube.

Capcom europe are actually in Japan chatting about these damn borders, just thought you'd like to know ;-)

just cause one game isn't coming out you think your PS2's useless now? o........k obviously the other great games coming out for it won't make up for it in your eyes

Well i for one am rather p***ed off -this is the first i have heard of this, i only bought my p2 a few days ago ( with code veronica ) and feal i might as well have bought CV + a second hand dreamcast. Just another over priced bit of junk to go with my 3DO. I hope Capcom loose there shirt.
