I don't suppose anyone has DIRECT links to sites which contain a decent collection of roms, because i'm getting tired of being led on a wild goose chase. I visted gawd knows how many links now and NONE of have contained roms, help me! *rips hair out*

ROMS of freeware, released by the developers/publishers, are legal to use.

Emulators are legal to use, providing you're not using them to play copied games. Some people use them to create their own games for use!

Why do you think so many ROM sites are in foreign languages and suddenly 'disappear' overnight?

ok if roms are illegal, why was a popular pc mag providing an emulator along with pc demos like freelancer?

what's the point in the emulators being developed if the roms are illegal?

Unfortunately, all the ones I knew have been taken down. It took a damn age to find them; but I had one or two ROMS a while back, so I suppose it was worthwhile.

Copying games is copying games.

Those "24 hours" and other 'rules' are made up by those that supply the ROMS to try and justify their actions. They're breaking the law themselves.

Not if you have them for personal use and destroy them after 24 hours...I think. But who's gonna do that eh?

Just because the games aren't produced for that console any more, its still piracy.
