Hi all, this topic is going to be for all the games (I can't have the whole competition in the topic "SR world Cup 3- Team Selection" can I?)
The competition will start off tomorrow with the first games of group 1 and 2 and we'll go from there, the groups are:-

Denmark (Vamp) VS Argentina (HelloHowArtThou)
First half
Denmark kick off.
Denmark start lively, they’ve strung some very quick passes together, a thru ball puts Sand 1 on 1, he shoots… But the keeper deflects it away, almost a goal in under a minute there :D
Roberto Ayala fired in a shot only to be straight at the keeper.
Denmark have a free kick to the edge of the box, put towards the back post… Free header! Straight at the keeper, unlucky bet he should’ve done better
Argentina have a free kick 25 yards out, Veron fires it goalwards…But the keeper makes a fantastic save! Corner for the Argies, Veron crosses it in… but it’s headed away by toefting.
Denmark have a corner near the touchline, crossed in by Toefting… free header for Sand! But the keeper parries it upwards and catches it as it falls.
OH! A goalmoath scramble ended with Ortega doing a sliding shot which hit Sorensens body and bounced clear.
Argentina have a free kick on the halfway line, Veron crosses it into the box, AYALA… WHAT A SAVE! What looked to be a certain goal was miraculously saved by Sorensen, Veron crosses in the corner…but Zanetti’s feeble header bounced wide.
Half Time

This has been a very good half with both teams performing well, with the Argies just edging it, if it carries on as it is, the Argies’ll win.
2nd Half
Argentina kick off.
Roberto Ayala picked up the ball on the halfway line, ran down the byline, cut in near the box, took on 2 defenders, but before he could get his shot away, he was tackled, unlucky. Veron dispatches the corner…But Toefting clears, Sand picks the ball up and runs with it, he plays a clever 1-2 which leaves him through on goal, he shoots… but the keeper manages to get his right hand to it. Corner to be taken by Toefting (who else :D) , he’s whipped it in… the keeper could only parry it but Tomasson’s shot piddled by the open goal.
60 mins gone.
Tomasson gets down the wing with the ball, a low cross finds Sand at the near post… but his half volley goes into the side netting.
Ebbe Sand managed to wriggle past the scything challenges of the Argentine defence and hit his shot goalwards but it just crawled past the far post, unlucky.

Crespo tried a long chip when he caught Sorensen off his line only to find it hit the roof of the net, unlucky.
Denmark have a corner, Toefting puts it into the box…but it’s cleared.
2nd Half in Extra time
Argentina kick off
Simeone gets shown a straight red for a challenge from behind! This game is god after all :D
Toefting flights the ball forward…but the keeper came out to claim it.

Italy kick off.
I quick turn left Del Piero clear on goal but before he could strike he was excellently tackled.
Cameroon have a corner, Lauren fires it in…cleared…but Et’oo picks it up on the edge of the box, he fires it goalwards…But it deflects off his own man for a goal kick, unlucky!
Vieri was clear through on goal when Song scythed him down, Song luckily came away with just a yellow card, whilst Vieri’s picked up a knock that’ll affect him for the rest of the game.
Del Piero has a go from the free kick… But it floats harmlessly over the bar.
Inzaghi comes on for Vieri
Inzaghi almost had an immediate effect would it not of been for the thru ball being too fast.
