Hi all, this topic is going to be for all the games (I can't have the whole competition in the topic "SR world Cup 3- Team Selection" can I?)

The competition will start off tomorrow with the first games of group 1 and 2 and we'll go from there, the groups are:-

I need someone to support, seeing as I'm knocked out. I'll choose Paraguay, because I just finished a league with them (before my PS2 broke) and I quite like them. They have Santa on their team, they can't lose.

it's my report that's really late. I would blame the spoof-off due to all that reading so i will. Anyway, i will review the last couple of games and how important they are/were.

I predicted senegal may edge it but hey, they beat the favorites helping denmark through instead. Senegal breezed through the group but that draw was enough from denmark to put them through.

Ireland were one of my favorites to go through. So they decide to lose all of their games. Italy went through as anticipated but Tunisia have done well and qualified with them.

Sweden should be through after having the greater goal difference but due to a mistake by Badgerman, a replay will be played between sewden and russia tomorrow.
England however only needed one of these teams to draw or lose in order to qualifiy so cue a dull set of results. 0-0 in both games win england win the group.

Remarkably, Saudi Arabia have won the group. Only by scoring more goals but still. And all this after beating Brazil 1-0 which is a shock within it's self.
Mexico just miss out on first place but still qualified comfortably with a 1-0 win over slovenia.

Everyone will be looking at as all teams can still qualifiy. Nigeria look as good as through and need a draw for certainty while USA will need to win as well as nigeria to win.
Predictions are Nigeria and Ecuador to go through

Argentina are already through and have a comfortable game against South Korea. A draw will do for Belgium for qualification unless South korea pull off a BIG shock!
Predictions are Argentina (DUH!) and Belgium.

Friday's gamed are Turkey (Unbeliever) Vs Croatia (Shadow) and Japan (Elf Ears) Vs Paraguay (GrandPrix & AfroJoe)
Japan aren't offically out but their rubbish goal difference gives them no chance for hope. Croatia have a big game against Turkey which could decide both teams fates.
Paraguay will have to keep up with turkey's goals if they want to qualifiy, having the same amount of goal difference.
Predictions are Paraguay and Croatia

The final set of games before the knockout stages are China (Microchips) Vs Portugal (Hercules!) and Cameroon (Sfonæ)Vs Germany (Absolut Neo)
From day 1, I said Cameroon would win the group. Now they have and could do Portugal a favour if they beat germany.
Portugal will rely on Cameroon while hoping they do well enough against china who themselves have a good chance, being 1 point off second place.
Predictions are Cameroon :-) and Portugal

Well I can't win all of them, that's unfair. :D I do beleive in world cup 2 if it's still going, that my team (Ireland) has to play your team (Ecuador). :P

Bah, sorry all. Screwed up majorly, so to make it up, on Thursday, we'll have a one-off game, to decide who goes through, this'll be between Russia (Pro Evo) Vs Sweden (Reynolds)
