Hi all, this topic is going to be for all the games (I can't have the whole competition in the topic "SR world Cup 3- Team Selection" can I?)
The competition will start off tomorrow with the first games of group 1 and 2 and we'll go from there, the groups are:-

SR World Cup Group C Final Qualifying place
Russia (Pro Evo) Vs Sweden (Reynolds)
Both of these teams seem equally matched, but on paper, Sweden just edge it, but in this competition, reputations count for nothing, so here we go…
First Half
Russia Kick off.
Russia have just had the first attack, after a midfielder was scythed down in the center circle, advantage was played which allowed Russia to work the ball down the right wing, with the cross narrowly missing the diving header by the attacker.
The first shot of the game has gone to Russia, a crossed in ball was half cleared when Titov volleyed goalwards only for the goalkeeper to save.
Russia are piling on the pressure as a counter-attack lead to another edge-of-the-box shot straight at the goalkeeper.
Sweden have a corner, it’s whipped in…the keeper can only get a hand on it… it’s set up for the Sweedish captain… GOAL! HE SCISSOR KICKED IT INTO THE EMPTY NET! RUSSIA 0:1 SWEDEN 20 MINUTES GONE! disaster for the keeper!

Russia have a corner on the half-hour mark, it’s looped in…the attacker’s chested it down only for the Sweed keeper to claim at his feet
Sweden have a free kick in a good position, but it looks as if their center midfielder, Alexandersson, is down injured… the free kick is directed goalwards, crappy effort, straight over the bar.
Russia have the ball in the center circle, it’s pumped intowards the box…. The keeper just gets ahead of the attacker with a weak punch, The Russian is backpedaling, he heads towards the unguarded net… just wide! So unlucky!
Sweden have a free kick in a very good position just before half time, it’s hit goalwards…but another tame effort by Larsson sees the ball float over.
And that’s the last kick of the Half.
Badgerman’s Half Time Thought
In a half where Russia probably just edged it, Sweden have the goal, unlucky it may be, but I think Russia can turn it around in the Second Half, lets see…
Second Half
Sweden kick off.
Russia are really taking the game to Sweden but cant seem to find a way through their defence.
Sweden have had a couple of free kicks in as many minutes, and both have flown over the bar.
Russia manage to get a shot in in a packed area which forced Hedman to make the save, corner to Russia, whipped in…cleared for another corner, whipped in…And a header just grazes the bar as it goes over! The defence was slack there, a corner to the back post, and with an unmarked header he headed the ball the opposite way as it came to him, unlucky!
75 minutes gone.
Larsson’s found a way through the defence, he’s one on one, but the keeper palms it out, the ball is picked up on the wing, crossed in and headed towards goal… great save! He held a seemingly unstoppable shot!
10 minutes to go
Russia intercept and push forward, thet’ve got into the Sweedish half, they’ve passed the ball into the box, the shots blocked.. it falls to the big Russian… HE SCORES FROM CLOSE RANGE! HE’S JUST SAVED THE DAY FOR RUSSIA 88 MINUTES GONE RUSSIA 1:1 SWEDEN!

Russia have a free kick in a reasonably good range, 90 minutes on the clock, they couldn’t? Crossed in… FREE HEADER… OFF THE BAR! AND OVER! Oh my gawd.

Bloody Hell, Ok then, onto Golden goal, if the game keeps going as it was, then I only see Russia winning this…

Larsson’s got half a pace ahead of the defender, he shoots early, the keeper saves to his right… and it’s cleared, big let off for Russia there.
Oooh, a powerful Sweedis burst from midfield left him through on goal only to be hacked down, yellow card, should’ve been a red. Sweden have a free kick on the edge of the box. Dispatched goalwards… but yet again it’s gone over, pretty crappy free kick wise from the Swedes
Through ball to Larsson, he pokes it goalwards.. Fantastic save from the keeper! I thought that was it then, but the Russian keeper has really kept them in this.
Sweden have a free kick near the corner flag, crossed in, Larsson hits a looping header… OFF THE POST! And out for a goal kick! Unbelievable.

Second Half In Extra Time
Sweden are attacking early, Larsson is in a good position if they can work the ball to him, a looping header goes in his direction, he’s in the box on a 1 on 1 here, he could win it now, he stabs it goalwards… WHAT A FANTASTIC SAVE!, the keeper somehow managed to parry it away from danger when a goal looked imminent!
We’re nearing the end of Extra time, penalties look a certainty, but Russia are bursting forward late in the game, now they surely couldn’t? Ooh, a thru ball is cut out which would’ve lead to the big Russian attacker being through on goal.
Full Time, onto Penalties.

Hey all, Tonight I'm gonna do a report on the game Russia (Pro Evo) Vs Sweden (Reynolds), to decide whio qualifies, I cocked up the group so this is the only fair way, Pro Evo wanted a re-match, and so far Reynolds hasnt refused it, so it'll be up soon!
