It came out as a pirate it wasn't beta but in fact a gold version (i.e. ready to be duplicated). I downloaded it and played it all the way through in both the half life game and blue shift and really enjoyed it too. Awesome game.

Valve pulled the plug on releasing it even though the game was complete and they had done everything including box art.
But like people say someone got hold of it and started circulating it.
Illegal but worth it for the Dreamcast.
