my m8 is trying 2 prove that halflife came out on the dc.

is he right?

Valve pulled the plug on releasing it even though the game was complete and they had done everything including box art.
But like people say someone got hold of it and started circulating it.
Illegal but worth it for the Dreamcast.

It came out as a pirate it wasn't beta but in fact a gold version (i.e. ready to be duplicated). I downloaded it and played it all the way through in both the half life game and blue shift and really enjoyed it too. Awesome game.

Downloaded a copy of this yesterday. Looks smoother than the PC version and despite god awful controls I am enjoying it a lot. I completed the PC version but there are a few new weapons as well as new weapon designs. Its an absolute classic in every sense.

so they are fake copies then?

Not Officialy.

But it was leaked afew months back. I think you can pick up copies on Ebay.

I'm almost certain it came out...

i think i read a review as well, but then it didnt come out for some reason
