There will be many good games coming out which will compete with Halo 2
like Soul Calibur 2 , Splinter Cell 2 , Project Gotham Racing 2 plus there is lots of more games to come out.
At the E3 convention everybody got to see a video of Halo 2 plus they got too see extra screenshots and the extra screenshots are in this month's official x box magazine.
Do you think Halo 2 will be the best game of 2004 ?
I find reversing the Y-axis invaluable on most FPS games.
Im sure i will have to see people play halo 2, and i better start on giving halo a try too!

Yeah, but more people left after the Microsoft buyout.

It wasn't nearly as much as most. It was about 5. Besides, Perfect Dark turned out OK without them didn't it?

Ditto
But Thief III is out 2004 and I will prefer that far more than any of the others.
The chance of it being my favourite game of next year is less than the chance of me winning the lottery without entering.
And seeing as there is never a real best game of a year, this question is just asking opinons.
