Thats actually all from reliable sources.

Looks like we are in for a shock treat in 2004.

I think so!

Goldeneye had the 'vehicle levels' though. Just rembering those should help in seeing PD's 'true greatness'. :D

And a lot of Goldeneye's multiplayer player levels didn't give players many paths to take.

PD was good but it feels like .. Goldeneye with beefed up graphics, Alien Storyline, more multiplayer options, more mutliplayer arenas and more guns.
Yes it is what Goldenye is meant to be but a few things let it down, some of the new PD Multiplayer levels are awful, single player starts okay but when she meets the alien dude it becomes very tedious and to be hones=st Goldeneyes mission objectives on some missions are better, dont take me wrongly it was a GOOD game but not superb because of some parts of the game.

What did you find wrong about PD over Goldeneye?

Perfect Dark was superb.

It was everything Goldeneye was and then some.

IGN reckon it works well with the extra stuff EA are trying to do. They're including hand to hand combat with various objects (wine bottles etc) as weapons.

I preffered PD to be honest.

Nintendo had far more say with the Goldeneye game because it was Nintendo that bought the license. Nintendo will have the ability to ask EA to make a remake of the classic title... EA and Nintendo are very good friends lately. As I say it is all very believable... but not neccessarily true...

It is perfectly possible that Nintendo or Retro are making the game but with EA's permission for use of the license (with the normal cut of course) aka Metal Gear Solid. Nintendo asked Silicon to make the game and Konami agreed as long as they get some of the revenue from it... it costs them nothing to make and they get a cut because of the name, its like free money.

We'll see...

Damn. The last time they did that we got Tomorrow Never Dies. They go back to first person and we get The World Is Not Enough. First person is better.
