Do you think chip upgrading has a bigger effect on the light mechs?
I haven't bothered with my heavy mech and it doesn't seem to need it.

I have a pretty decent one now, cost about 250,000.
It's actually slightly weaker than the first mech I had, but that's because this one is a hover rather than a walker; it's much quicker :)

I've got a tip for you guys:
For your 2nd third mech. Build a quick light one with the best cloaking and then stick a meaty drill/chainsaw on it. You can now walk right up to mech whilst cloaked and kill them in about two hits with a superlight mech!
Great fun to do, takes a bit of skill, and it gets you money for your mega mechs!

Yeah, the drone bots that have the standard crappy electron chip in them, they are hilariously easy to destroy.

Done it. But at 50 drone kills I get bored and considering how far advanced my main mech is it doesn't buy much.

It gets tougher as you get to the 1 on 1 Area ranker battles. That speccy guy the girls in love with is the opponent I need to beat at the mo. I have lost at least 3 times to him.
